Harvella Builders are looking to take on an Apprentice Plasterer to join their team in Plymouth, learning all aspects of the Interior Systems Apprenticeship and general building.
Apprentice’s Role
Harvella Builders, a well established, professional building company are looking to take on an Apprentice who will become proficient in both plastering and general building.
You will work under the direction and guidance of an experienced tradesperson carrying out tasks such as;
You will be working alongside other builders so will also pick up experience in other home improvement activities that are carried out.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Wages: £192.40 per week based on 40 hours a week (£4.81 per hour, National Minimum Apprenticeship Wage)
Holiday: 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) will be paid each year, during the course of your apprenticeship.
Harvella Builders Ltd are a well-established, reputable building company working within all aspects of the building trade. A family run business, Harvella Builders undertake work in Devon & Cornwall area, delivering high end building work.
They are experienced in all trades and carry out many services such as Extensions, Plastering, Restoration & Refurbishment, Conversions, Bathroom and Kitchen Fitting, Painting and Decorating and Bricklaying. They have a wealth of knowledge and are looking to train a new Apprentice to learn all aspects of the building trade.

The Apprenticeship in Interior Systems includes:
Attendance is required at our training centre for one day per week. Your training will consist of part knowledge and part theory, whilst the rest will be practical. During this time you will be shown the necessary hand skills required to use specialist tools, carry out duties such as plastering and skimming, rendering, dry lining work, floor screeding and fibrous moulds. Learning these skills will benefit you on returning to your employer.
You will also have the opportunity to complete additional qualifications in Emergency First Aid and certified Health and Safety, along with Internet Safety and Safeguarding.
Skills Group will also support you to complete your online CSCS test, in order to apply for your CSCS Card. This will enable you to carry out site work with the employer when required.
