Apprenticeships in the Business and Management sector provide an exceptional platform for a range of exciting career opportunities across all industries; most businesses rely upon at least one of the following job roles to support them to deliver their services or products to their customers: customer service practitioner, business administrator, team leader or manager.
As an apprentice you will learn the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to effectively contribute to the operation of a business; these are valuable transferrable skills whether you are just starting your career or developing into a more complex role within your organisation.
As part of your apprenticeship programme you will complete three stages; stage one is learning the skills, knowledge and behaviours you need, and collecting evidence along the way to demonstrate how you have applied them to your practice.
Stage two is reached when you have gathered all the evidence needed, and together with your employer and Skills Group mentor, agree you are ready for end-point assessment. This is called assessment gateway. The third and final stage is to book your end-point assessment. End-point assessment requirements vary from one apprenticeship to another, but are always carried out by an independent assessor.
Once you have completed your chosen apprenticeship programme, there are always opportunities to progress; you can move onto higher level apprenticeships, move onto a more senior role within your organisation or achieve professional recognition with the Chartered Management Institute or Institute of Leadership and Management.
Our apprentices have moved onto some fantastic careers such as: Marketing Assistants, Human Resource Administrators, Office Managers, Project Managers, Departmental Heads and Senior Managers.
